Tonkotsu – Spicy Creamy Pork
Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Carefully add the egg and cook for 7 minutes for a soft boil or 11 minutes for a hard boil, then remove and place egg in ice bath. Once cooled, peel and cut in half.
Place the bacon in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave for 60 to 90 seconds until cooked. Set aside.
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, add the noodles, and cook for 3 minutes. Add the frozen mixed vegetables, then cook for another 2 minutes.
Scoop about 1/3 cup of the cooking water into a bowl and mix it with the Bold Tastes of Tokyo Tonkotsu dry seasoning and liquid packets until smooth.
Drain the remaining water from the noodles and vegetables, then add them to the bowl with the sauce. While still hot, place the slice of cheese on top and stir until melted. Top with the bacon, egg and serve.
