Tonkotsu – Spicy Creamy Pork
Fill a pot with water and bring it to a boil. Carefully add the egg and cook for 7 minutes for a soft boil or 11 minutes for a hard boil, then remove and place egg in ice bath. Once cooled, peel and cut in half.
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, add the noodles, and cook for 5 minutes.
Scoop about 1/3 cup of the cooking water into a bowl and mix it with the Bold Tastes of Tokyo Tonkotsu dry seasoning and liquid packet until smooth.
Drain the remaining water from the noodles and egg, then add them to the bowl with the sauce. While still hot, place the slice of cheese on top and mix until melted.
Finish by topping with chopped Canadian bacon or ham, egg and green onions, then serve.
